Coffee Burnside is our beloved brown ale with the addition of locally-roasted coffee. We work with local roasters to find coffee varietals that augment and enhance the flavors of Burnside.
The coffee selected for Coffee Burnside complements the chocolate and burnt sugar notes of the base beer, creating an intense aroma and flavor, but leaving a smooth and balanced finish.
Not a beer to sit on, we encourage everyone to enjoy Coffee Burnside while it is young, and the bright flavors and aroma are still at their peak. Don’t worry, we can always put on another pot.
Grains: Pale Malt, Coffee Malt, Maine-Grown Oats, Crystal Malt

4/10/17- For our first production-scale batch, we were delighted to be able to choose a Kigabah Estate Peaberry from Papua New Guinea, which was roasted by our friends at Coffee By Design.
10/26/17-For our second production batch, we partnered with our friends at Bard Coffee and used beans grown by Antonio Domingo Cota in Guatemala.
