We take pride in our investment in our community. We support 501(c)3 non-profits and community organizations in greater Portland focusing, in particular, on community development, animal welfare, and outdoor activities.
Foundation Brewing Company has a limited budget for charitable giving and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate every request that we receive. We respectfully decline to support the following types of requests: organizations that are not a 501(c)3 non-profit, and organizations whose sole focus is sports or competitions. Not all applications received will be approved for receipt of a donation. All donation requests must be submitted via the online application. Applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event and they will be reviewed on a monthly basis.
In-kind donations of beer
Foundation Brewing Company may donate beer for events that support the mission of a non-profit. The donation recipient must hold a valid liquor license for the event. The donated beer must directly benefit the non-profit. Clear records of the donation must be kept. The product may only be served at the designated event; any remaining product must be returned to Foundation Brewing Company. Cans or bottles should be recycled and not turned in for redemption, as a deposit was not paid.
In-kind donation of merchandise
Foundation Brewing Company may donate a selection of merchandise towards a non-profit fundraising event, such as an auction item, raffle item, or gift basket. Merchandise can include but is not limited to apparel, barware, gift certificates, and private tours. Foundation Brewing Company may also donate packaged beer, in which case detailed records must be kept and the recipient must be at least 21 years of age. The donation recipient must pick up the donated merchandise from the tasting room at a scheduled time prior to the event date.
Foundation Brewing Company may make a monetary donation to a non-profit organization in conjunction with a sponsored event or other type of partnership.
