Notice Regarding Sparkle’s My Jam

Foundation Fans,

It is with regret that we are announcing we are pulling cans of Sparkle’s My Jam from the market.  This week we discovered a risk of over-carbonated cans due to continued fermentation in samples our brewery laboratory maintained warm as part of our normal quality checks. Care should be taken if you have cans that have been kept warm.

Here at the brewery’s tasting room, we keep our cans cold until sale.  We poured cans of this beer in our tasting room through this past Sunday and did not experience any issues with over-carbonation.  However, while cold cans may not present any problems currently, we know that cans may not always be stored cold, and even with that, could over-carbonate over time.  We are committed to being transparent about our beer and want to address this concern directly. These cans were only sold in Maine and Michigan, and we have no concern over the taste or the safety of the beer itself, just the potential to over-carbonate.

Due to these concerns, we are offering the following solutions. You can bring any unconsumed cans back to the brewery for a full refund or exchange for a different product.  If coming to the brewery is not an option for you, or if you have any other questions or concerns, please email us at beerme@foundationbrew.com and we will be happy to address that with you directly and ensure you are satisfied with the outcome.

We know there are a lot of options out there when it comes to craft beer, and we deeply appreciate it when you choose to enjoy Foundation.  To that end, we will continue to be open and transparent with you. Our goal has always been to brew great beers that reflect the vision we have for them.  We hope that you enjoy drinking our beers as much as we enjoy making them.
